Come together for a cosy, creative anfternoon exploring clay as a therapeutic medium, while making beautiful decorations for Christmas and beyond.

The workshop will be guided by Maria, who brings more than 30 years of experience across therapy and education. Her practice uses creative techniques to support people experiencing trauma and loss, with a particular emphasis on clay and the healing and connection it can encourage.

Come alone or bring friends, you’ll be warmly welcomed either way. You’ll shape your own decorations, paint pre-prepared pieces and enjoy the simple pleasure of making with your hands. No experience or artistic ability is needed, and you’ll leave with your finished artwork and, quite possibly, some lovely new friends too.

We’ll gather around the tables at the Hypatia Trust in Penzance, a wonderfully welcoming space filled with warmth and twinkling lights. Settle in, slow down and enjoy mince pies, mulled wine and Christmas music as we create, connect and simply be.
