Maia is a BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation graduate dedicated to helping people move well, build strength, and enjoy an active life at every age. With a warm, supportive approach and a passion for making exercise accessible, she empowers people to feel confident in their bodies, whether they’re recovering from injury, managing a long-term condition, or simply wanting to become stronger and healthier.
She has a particular interest in women’s health, menopause, and healthy ageing, believing that strength training is one of the most powerful tools we have to improve quality of life. As a Specialist Menopause Exercise Trainer, she helps women navigate midlife with confidence, building strength, resilience, and long-term health. Maia is also a qualified Parkinson’s Exercise Trainer and Nordic Walking Instructor, using evidence-based exercise to help people maintain mobility, independence, and wellbeing.
Alongside her rehabilitation work, Maia teaches fitness classes at RS Fitness, is a Strength Reformer Instructor at Stronger Studios, and provides sports massage therapy. She loves helping people understand why they are doing an exercise, not just how to do it, so they leave feeling stronger, more capable, and empowered to take control of their own health.
Outside of work, you will usually find Maia on the netball court, sea swimming, training in the gym, or spending time at the beach. She believes movement should be something to enjoy, and that staying active can be one of the greatest investments we make in our future health and happiness.
