Ella started Mora Cornwall at 19, desperate to share her passion for illustration, marine life, swimming and of course her love of Cornwall (specifically her hometown of Newlyn). Having never quite had the confidence to just go for it, she finally decided to bring Mora to life thanks to the support and encouragement of friends and family and has never looked back. She started off with just a few prints that she packaged and sent out from her bedroom but this suddenly spiralled into commissions from some of her favourite places and brands such as XTRATUF, Jubilee Pool and Tehidy Woods Cafe, stocking her dream items like her bestselling “Respect the Locals” kids clothing range and even a couple of celebrity commissions.

Lately, life has moved in a slightly different direction, as have her aspirations for Mora. She has taken a step back from the physical selling side of things to focus on balancing commissions with work and also to give her the chance to really hone in on her true vision for Mora now that she has many more years of experience under her belt. For the last year she has been working on curating new ranges, finding even better suppliers that share her same ethos and vision for sustainability and supporting fellow local business owners whislt still taking on commissions that align with her vision. Most recently she helped Kirsty and Maia bring their vision for Bevy to life.

Ella can’t wait to relaunch Mora in the months to come and she hopes you’ll all love it as much as she does.
