Ella is the artist behind Mae Lines, a fine line tattoo business based in Penzance, Cornwall. Having always been passionate about art, she followed her dream of becoming a tattoo artist, combining creativity with the opportunity to create meaningful pieces that people will wear for a lifetime.

Living by the Cornish coast, Ella draws inspiration from the sea, nature and the ever-changing landscape around her. Her work reflects this love through delicate botanical designs, wildlife, florals and soft, elegant fine line tattoos. She particularly enjoys creating bespoke pieces that hold personal meaning, whether that’s a loved one’s handwriting, a sentimental tribute or a design that tells someone’s unique story.

Ella believes that getting a tattoo should be a memorable and positive experience. She takes pride in creating a calm, welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable, listened to and involved throughout the design process. Alongside custom tattoos, she also offers carefully curated flash designs and has recently started providing live tattoo experiences for weddings and special events.

When she’s not tattooing, Ella enjoys exploring Cornwall’s coastline and expressing her creativity through painting, pottery and jewellery making. She is passionate about continually developing her craft and helping people leave with artwork they’ll treasure for years to come
