Eliza Bell – Founder of The Kind Movement Club
Eliza Bell is the founder of The Kind Movement Club, a Cornwall-based community helping women rebuild confidence in their bodies through gentle movement, kindness and connection.
After receiving a heart transplant in 2019, Eliza experienced firsthand how intimidating traditional fitness and wellbeing spaces can feel when your body has been through illness, disability or a major life change. Walking played an important part in helping her trust her body again, but she often struggled to find groups where she felt understood and able to move at her own pace.
Eliza created The Kind Movement Club in March 2026 to offer women the kind of community she had been searching for. The club welcomes women navigating health conditions, chronic illness, disability, grief, burnout or mental health challenges, as well as anyone who has lost confidence in their body and wants to begin moving again without pressure.
The Kind Movement Club currently hosts relaxed community walks, social gatherings and special events across Cornwall. There is no expectation to keep up, push through discomfort or prove anything. Women are encouraged to listen to their bodies, choose their own pace and show up exactly as they are.
Eliza is also developing an accessible online wellbeing community featuring gentle movement classes led by supportive experts, allowing women beyond Cornwall to feel included.
When she is not working on the club, Eliza enjoys exploring Cornwall with her golden retriever Pippa, visiting cafés, spending time by the sea and finding simple ways to bring more creativity, connection and adventure into everyday life.
